All about the Victoria Falls Dinner Cruise.

A dinner cruise above Victoria Falls is a great way to combine a sunset cruise with a gourmet dining experience. Enjoy a Zambezi style four-course dinner prepared on board by the executive chef using local fresh ingredients, while sipping on your favourite beverage and taking in the wildlife and scenery.

The Dinner Cruise is a logical upgrade from the Sunset Cruise and great value, as it is one hour longer, and dining on the river saves going out to dinner after the cruise.

After a short transfer from your lodge, you will board the dinner cruise boat and will head downstream towards Victoria Falls. The spray from the falls can be seen from this vantage point, and the boat will then travel upstream to catch the sun setting over the Zambezi River. As the  sun sets over the horizon, producing some of the most spectacular African sunsets, the first course of your dinner will be served.

The boat will meander in between all the channels on the Zambezi River which is the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, and the attentive staff will continue serving the freshly prepared meal and your choice of beverages.

This dinner cruise takes place on one of two dedicated floating restaurants, the Ma Robert or Zambezi Reflections, both renowned for their high quality of food and service, and tasteful furnishings.

The typical menu would be a starter of canapes or cured smoked meats, this will be followed by the soup of the day and fresh bread rolls. The Main Course will be a choice of local bream filet, stuffed chicken breast or filet of beef, all freshly cooked in the on board kitchen. The meal is completed with a delicious desert choice of a cheesecake or fruit platter.

After dinner the boat will dock at the waterfront, and a short transfer back to your lodge in Victoria Falls will end a perfect evening.
