For the fishing enthusiast, where can there be a better place to enjoy your passion than the Zambezi River upstream of the Mighty Victoria Falls. With over 75 species in these waters, you can’t go wrong with a fishing excursion on the Zambezi River.
Whilst enjoying the amazing wildlife and nature on the river banks as you drift down the river spinning for the sought after Tiger Fish, pound for pound, rated as one of the greatest fighting fish in the world growing as large as 15kg.
Other popular species of fish are the Yellow Belly Bream, Three Spot, Pink-Happy and Silver Barbel.
Whether the serious angler, recreational fisherman or first timer – there is enjoyment to be had by all. A variety of wildlife can also be viewed along the river, from hippo to the soaring eagle, the churning rapids to the serenity of a gentle flowing river – there is something for everyone, even the family member who just wants to come along for the views.

Over 75 species of fish lurk in the waters of the mighty Zambezi with a quest to elude capture. One of these is rated by many anglers as “the finest sporting and fighting fish in the world” – the renowned Tiger Fish. Come and meet this formidable opponent. Whether the serious angler, recreational fisherman or first-timer – there is enjoyment to be had by all.
A variety of wildlife can also be viewed along the river, from hippo to the soaring eagle, the churning rapids to the serenity of a gently flowing river – there is something for everyone. Angle Zambia offers you a memorable day on the river and an opportunity to tell off “the big one that got away!”
Half-Day and full-day excursions are available. After transfer to one of the launch sites, one of the experienced guides will brief you in matters of safety pertaining to the trip. Shortly thereafter you take to the water in pursuit of adventure. In protection of our natural resources, we have adopted a catch-and-release policy for all fish caught. We do however encourage the use of a camera to capture those memorable moments.

No age restrictions. Children U12 50% – must be accompanied by an adult.
