Zambezi Dinner Cruise (Malachite) Overview.
Enjoy the best of both worlds, a spectacular sunset cruise followed by a four-course meal, freshly prepared on-board by the chefs, and served to you while cruising along the Zambezi River with the sounds of the African bush providing your background music.
On the upper deck, guests are offered a glass of sparkling wine to sip as they settle into the plush cushioned furniture and relax before the journey along the Zambezi River begins; all the while looking out for the various birdlife and animals there are to be seen and then watching as one of Africa’s famous sunsets erupts in the sky.
A barman and three attentive waiters anticipate your needs, serving a selection of fresh cocktails and imported premium spirits throughout your cruise.
Dinner is served on the lower deck of the vessel after the sun has set below the river line, exemplifying the hallmarks of exquisite cuisine prepared on board by the Chefs.
As the dishes are plated, the rich aroma of locally sourced, fresh ingredients wafts around the diners.
Time seems to slow down as the boat glides along, the sound of water lapping against her sides.
The moon and stars shine brightly in the sky, far from the glare of city lights and noise, and an atmosphere of mystery and romance pervades the evening’s experience. The crew is ably led by a captain, and the combined experience of the staff ensures an informative and memorable evening.
