All about the Siduli Hide.

Siduli Hide Overview

The Siduli Hide in Victoria Falls is located on the edge of a waterhole that is overlooked by the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Designed to appear like a termite mound, the Siduli Hide allows you the opportunity to observe wildlife in a unique, up close and personal way. A qualified Professional Guide will escort you on a short walk (5 minutes) from the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge to the Siduli hide. Once safely hidden within, you will wait for a variety of mammal, reptile and bird species to visit the waterhole and quench their thirsts or to sample minerals at the nearby salt-lick. This activity is a must for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.

In order not to startle the animals and make them aware of your presence, you must be able to sit quietly for long periods of time and should not suffer from claustrophobia! This activity is ideal for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts, who are after a ?non-touristy? experience. We recommend early morning and late afternoon trips to the hide. This is a cooler time of day and when there is most chance that animals will be at the waterhole. Times will vary slightly with the seasons. Time spent in the hide will also vary. But will be a minimum of two hours.

Please note that due to seasonal changes and the fact that this is an authentic wild experience, we cannot guarantee wildlife sightings. Saying this, the drier it gets, the more chance there is of having some exciting close up encounters with wildlife.
