Helicopter Flight Overview

Departing from the Waterfront the aircraft will route along the coastline passing Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, CampsBay, Llandudno and Hout Bay.

After HoutBay you will get a great view of the famous Chapman’s’ Peak Drive which will be followed until reaching Noordhoek Beach. At Noordhoek, turn inland and route for False Bay and the town of FishHoek.

From here the return route shall commence, passing Kalk Bay, Muizenberg, Tokai, the Constantia Winelands, Newlands Cricket & Rugby Stadiums, University of Cape Town, Groote Schuur Hospital and, finally, the Cape Town Dockswhere you descend onto the Waterfront Helipads.

Pricing: Price is per Helicopter based on a per person price for a minimum of 3 passengers

Children: Children pay full Price.

Important Information:

Weight Limitations: As per the South Africa Civil Aviation Authority regulations, upon arrival at the helipad offices, every passenger will be weighed. The reading of the scale is kept confidential unless asked for by the client.

-Maximum weight per seat in the Robinson R44 is 120kg and/or an average of 90kg across the three seats

-Maximum weight per seat in the Bell 206 Jet Ranger is 140kg and/or an average of 85kg across the four seats

SHOULD WEIGHTS BE EXCEEDED & ADDITIONAL / LARGER HELICOPTER TYPES BE UTILISED, THIS WILL BE AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE to be covered directly by the guest. It is therefore recommended that clients provide this information at the time of booking.

Weather: This activity is weather dependent.In the event of adverse weather conditions on the day of the flight clients can either:

• Take the flight on a later date suitable to you
• Keep monies paid as credit for future flight
• Apply for 100% refund–administered through your local booking agent.
